Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press hosts NAHJ DC for elections coverage training

The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press released a new guide for journalists covering elections and polling places in advance of the 2018 midterm elections.
RCFP hosted NAHJ DC members for an in-person training based on the guide, which provides an overview of legal issues that journalists may face while covering Election Day on November 6, including around exit polling and “ballot selfies.”
