Call for Chapter Board Nominations
Now is your chance to volunteer and serve on the NAHJ Washington, D.C. Chapter Board. We are taking nominations now until Friday, May 30th.
We were the first official NAHJ chapter in 2006 and we have thrived for the past 8 years. Our founding chapter president Diana Marrero led our chapter for four years and I am also serving as Chapter President for 4 years. I am not seeking a 5th term.
I have served with an amazing group of chapter board members for the past four years. All of them have planned chapter events and all of them have made decisions in the best interest of our members.
Since I am not running for the chapter board, I will serve as elections chair and verify the candidates. I will not nominate or endorse any candidate.
Here are the Chapter Board positions available:
President
Vice-President
Treasurer
Secretary
At-large Officer
