NAHJ Members Meet with Obama Administration Leaders at The White House
More than 30 members of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists attended the D.C. Chapter November membership meeting at The White House. Cecilia Muñoz, White House Director of the Domestic Policy Council, Mayra Alvarez, Associate Director for the Office of Minority Health, Health and Human Services, and Felicia Escobar, White House Senior Policy Director for Immigration briefed NAHJ members on President Obama’s priorities toward the Latino Community. NAHJ national President Hugo Balto attended the meeting at the Old Executive Office building. NAHJ members from the New York area drove in for the meeting.
